Two photographs of the turbocharged engine under development. Below is the prototype blower fitted to test the feasibility of the system and after successful tests, the production version is shown below that.
The newspaper clipping from the Newbury Weekly News was a press release in October 1954. Unusual as normally the work in the Newbury Diesel Company was not publicised, they just got on and did the job.
