Anthony Smith has been good enough to send me some details of other engines manufactured but which do not appear on the listing as the NDC serial numbers are missing. Further research may provide them.
There are also, again from the same source, further details about some of the engines which do have allocated serial numbers. As far as possible, these have been included.

I have been given some interesting photographs by Darrin Pearce. His father and mother both worked at the NDC, Reg from 1942 through to his retirement in 1980. These will be added to the site as soon as possible. The most interesting from my point of view, being one of the few photographs of H Kent Norris which can be seen on his personal page.

I have had some requests for help with Plenty Steam Engines so I have added a page which provides a short history. It appears from my research that the Plenty records were transferred to the Berkshire Records Office in Reading about ten years ago. Whilst my time is a bit limited, I may be able to assist with research if you or your researcher cannot get along there. There is a two cylinder steam engine standing outside their old premises. I will try and pop along and take a photograph and post on here shortly. Watch this space.

A link from the Plenty connection....
An Australian research and restoration project which includes the original steam engine which will be restored as part of the restoration and return to original condition.

Added a weath of information and pictures sent to me by Darrin Pearce. His father Reg Pearce worked in the drawing office and was resposible for the drawings on the Engines section headed
"The drawing office."
