This advertisement for Newbury Diesel Engines, Sirron high speed engines appeared in the "Sydney Morning Herald" on WednesdayAugust 31st 1938. and gives details of the Australian agent. Note the proud heading, 'British Made', a far cry from today when it seems that everything is made in Japan or China.
I have no knowledge of any sales either as the result of the advertisment or the further efforts of the agent. but it would be nice to hear if there were any users down under..
Thanks to Anthony Smith for this cutting.
Tony was a NDC apprentice and currently is with Radamec, the successor to Newbury Diesel Controls..

Several advertising pamphlets were produced by the Newbury Diesel Company. This one, Powercraft, issued, presumably between the wars, but the date is not specified.
