Anthony Smith
Personal history
Anthony Smith, a regular contributor, was apprenticed to the Newbury Diesel Company. The training of apprentices was seen as important to the company and every effort was made to ensure that both parties gained the maximum benefit. A legal agreement was drawn up, in this case in 1968 and signed by the company, the apprentice and the legal guardian/parent. Below is a copy of the agreement.
